This Return Policy only applies to products that are listed on any website or mobile application owned or operated by CalChip Connect, Inc (the "Site") as "Sold and Shipped by CalChip Connect, Inc". 

General Return Procedures 

All product returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") number. 

You must request a return within 30 days of the delivery date, unless otherwise stated above. The device must be unopened for any order that is requested to be refunded within 30 days from the date of delivery.

Products that are received by CalChip Connect, Inc in any of the following conditions are not eligible for return and may be rejected: 

  • Any product used for blockchain and/or cryptocurrency mining functions that has been provisioned to the blockchain. 
  • Any product that has been opened.
  • Any product that does not exhibit the described reason for the return (i.e., a return initiated for a DOA product that powers on and works properly upon inspection).
  • Any product with a missing, damaged, altered, or otherwise unreadable serial number label, missing UPC Code, manufacturer model or part number label, and/or warranty label.
  • Any product that is returned without all original packaging and accessories, including the retail box, manuals, cables, and all other items originally included with the product.
  • Any product that exhibits physical damage. If you received your product damaged, please read our Report a Shipping Problem article for guidelines and instructions on how to resolve this issue. This would not be considered a return.
  • Any product for which you have submitted a mail-in rebate. 
  • Any product which appears tampered with, customized or altered in any way.
  • Any product that is returned with markings or writing made by the customer on the original box. 
  • All order cancelation, order update, return, refund, and support requests MUST be submitted on the proper request forms found at:  calchipconnect.com
  • Select “Submit a request and choose the proper form” 
  • Please do not send general email inquiries for refunds, returns or tech support to any @calchipconnect.com address, customer support responses will be delayed. 

Standard Return and Refund Policy 

Items covered by CalChip Connect, Inc's Standard Return Policy, those products for which CalChip Connect, Inc states "This item is covered by CalChip Connect, Inc's Standard Return Policy", can be returned for a refund or replacement.  This “Standard Return Policy” applies to all products and items if they do not designate a specific alternative return policy listed below.  
You must request a return within 30 days of the delivery date. 

Limitations based on product use, operation within manufacturer specified environmental conditions and product lifespan:  

In general, CalChip Connect, Inc will not accept returns of products which have been installed in locations, environments or physical enclosures which do not meet the manufacturer specifications.  This applies to all products, including indoor (typically 0 - 40 °C, <60% humidity) Helium Hotspot miners which customers deploy in unapproved enclosures or harsh environments (outdoors, attics...) that exceeded the product’s specification.   

CalChip Connect, Inc will not accept returns of any products used for blockchain and/or cryptocurrency mining which is known to significantly decrease the lifespan of the product due to overuse.  Blockchain and/or cryptocurrency applications commonly exceed the rated lifecycle of critical electronic components including CPU, memory and data storage elements.  This includes but is not limited to all Helium hotspot miner products from RAK, Kerlink, Adtran, Browan.   

PKT Pal PKT Cube Crypto Miner orders can only be canceled and refunded prior to the order being shipped. Once shipped, if the unit is determined to be defective within 30 days of delivery, PKT Pal will cover shipping, assessment, required maintenance of the device at a third party facility, and shipping of a functioning unit back to customer. If outside the 30 days, customer will be responsible for the shipping, $100 assessment fee, and costs required to fix the device.

Refunds on orders that are cancelled or returned 30 days or more after the original order date will be issued as a store credit.    

Store Credit Policy 

You may choose or be issued store credit due to a return or cancellation.  Store credit will be issued via a unique store credit code that will be sent to your email address used to make the original purchase.  The store credit will be available to use on any products that are listed on any CalChip Connect, Inc website or mobile application OR for special offers made by CalChip Connect, Inc.  Once issued the store will be available to use for five years after the date it was issued.   

CalChip Connect, Inc may deduct an "inactivity fee" from your balance if your store credit account has not been used within twelve months.  

If your store credit balance is less than $10, you can submit a request form to have the balance issued as a check and mailed to you. 

Standard Unfulfilled Order 30-day Policy 

Orders places for “in stock” item OR items that do not explicitly state an expected delivery date that are not fulfilled within 30 days may automatically be cancelled and a full refund issued to the original payment method.  CalChip Connect, Inc will attempt to contact you to get your informed consent to maintain the pending order and fulfill it when the item becomes available.  

Unfulfilled Order Policy for Pre-order, Backordered, and “Out of Stock” items.  

Unfulfilled orders placed for any items listed as Pre-order, Backordered, or out of stock will not automatically be cancelled. Given the global supply chain and logistics problems CalChip Connect is working with our customers and suppliers to help them purchase new, innovative, and hard to obtain products, many of which have long lead-times and frequently changing estimated delivery dates.   By choosing to purchase any Pre-order, Backordered, or “out of stock” item or product you are providing CalChip Connect, Inc your informed consent to continue to work to fulfill your order unless you explicitly submit a cancellation request at  support.calchipconnect.com using the: 

  • Preorder Backorder Item Cancelation Request Form

Refunds on Pre-order, Backordered, and “Out of Stock” item unfulfilled orders that are cancelled within 30 days of the order date will be issued to the original payment method if possible.  If CalChip Connect, Inc is unable to process the refund on the original payment method a store credit will be issued.  

Refunds on unfulfilled orders that are cancelled more than 30 days after the order date will be issued as a store credit. 

“Dead On Arrival” (DOA) Policy  

CCC will replace or refund any item that fails electrically or mechanically due to manufacturing defects within the DOA timescale. The DOA period is for a maximum of 5 days from the date of delivery.  

For any products used for blockchain and/or cryptocurrency mining functions the definition of “fails electrically” is strictly limited to the items ability to power up properly and connect to its respective blockchain.   Poor mining performance is NOT a valid DOA condition that qualifies under this policy. Please contact the item manufacturer directly for technical support on any mining or blockchain related performance issue.   

Replacement Only Return Policy 

Items covered by CalChip Connect, Inc's Replacement Only Return Policy, those products for which CalChip Connect, Inc states "This item is covered by CalChip Connect, Inc's Replacement Only Return Policy", can only be returned for a replacement. You must request a return within 30 days of the delivery date. 

Manufacturer Only Return Policy 

Items covered by CalChip Connect, Inc's Manufacturer Only Return Policy, those products for which CalChip Connect, Inc states "This item is covered by CalChip Connect, Inc's Manufacturer Only Return Policy", cannot be returned to CalChip Connect, Inc. These items are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. 

Consumable Product Return Policy 

Items covered by CalChip Connect, Inc's Consumable Product Return Policy, those products for which CalChip Connect, Inc states "This item is covered by CalChip Connect, Inc's Consumable Product Return Policy", cannot be returned to CalChip Connect, Inc. Consumable products may include, but are not limited to, Printer Ink, Toner Cartridges, CD/DVD Media, Retail Packaged Software, Downloadable Software, Digital Products, Paper Products, Face Masks, Gift Cards, Prepaid Cards, SIM Kits and etc. that are consumed once they are used. 

Subscription, Services and Dataplan Return Policy 

Items covered by CalChip Connect, Inc's Consumable Product Return Policy, those products for which CalChip Connect, Inc states "This item is covered by CalChip Connect, Inc's Consumable Product Return Policy", cannot be returned to CalChip Connect, Inc. Subscription, Services and Dataplan products and services, Retail Packaged Software, Downloadable Software, Digital Products,  Gift Cards, Prepaid Cards, SIM Kits and etc. that are consumed once they are used or assigned to the purchaser.   

Restocking Fees 

CalChip Connect, Inc reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of 15% for unopened units that were requested to be returned within 30 days from the date of delivery and for any other return request deemed eligible for a 15% restocking fee by CalChip Connect, Inc.

Bundle Purchases 

Bundles are offered as a way to purchase multiple items together at a discounted price. If you wish to return a Bundle for a refund, you must request a return within the applicable CalChip Connect, Inc Return Policy period and you must return the ENTIRE BUNDLE. Items sold as part of a Bundle may be returned individually for replacement if you request a replacement within the applicable CalChip Connect, Inc Return Policy period for that individual item. 

Combo and Kits Purchases 

Combos and Kits include two or more items that must be purchased together in order to receive a discount. Items sold as part of a Combo or Kit may be returned individually for replacement within the applicable CalChip Connect, Inc Return Policy Period for that individual item. 
 
If an individual Combo or Kit item is returned for a refund, the applicable discount will be voided, and the discounted amount will be deducted from the amount of the refund. If your Combo/Kit discount amount is greater than the individual unit price of the item you wish to return, then the item cannot be returned for a refund by itself; you will need to return all items in the Combo/Kit or return it with other items of value in order to receive a refund.  

Pre-paid Card, Gift Packaging and Memberships 

Purchases for prepaid cards and memberships are not eligible for return. 

Special Order Products 

Special order products are not eligible for return unless “dead on arrival” or deemed defective by the manufacturer. 

Quantity Purchases 

While CalChip Connect, Inc is more than happy to fill your order for a quantity of ten (10) or more of any given item in our inventory on a single purchase order, please understand that an order of that size, once purchase is completed, is automatically non-refundable. All other specific conditions related to the ordered item still apply, including any and all stipulations relative to any available replacement return policies. Please contact our customer service department with any questions you may have.  

Refusing Delivery 

Refused shipments are treated like regular returns and may be charged a non-refundable 15% restocking fee. 

Defective Products 

A defective product that is returned may be repaired, replaced, or refunded at CalChip Connect, Inc’s sole discretion, unless otherwise required by law.

Nothing in this Return Policy limits your rights and remedies under any law.
